Fishing Time wheel with 54 sectors by BGaming

Snapshot: how the wheel really looks

The 54 sectors are not spread evenly. 23 are white, 23 are grey, four are Big Catch. Three are Huge Catch and exactly one is Mega Catch. So yes, the bonus sectors are rare on purpose.

You feel it after a few spins. White and grey come up constantly, the bonuses hardly at all. We refresh this box every month if BGaming tweaks anything.

Fishing Time review 2026 – our take

By Rohan Mehta, games reviewer · Updated July 2026

Fishing Time is a simple wheel game with three bonus tiers. You back a sector and hope the wheel stops on it. No reels, no paylines – just the wheel and the fish. We played it in demo mode for a few hours.

Here is how we tested it. We spun the plain sectors and all three bonuses. We checked the RTP, the rules and how it holds up on a phone. The score below is based on that, not on a hunch.

7.8/10

Fast, clean and easy to grasp. The x1000 ceiling is on the low side, though.

Theme and design

The theme is ice fishing on a frozen lake. An angler in an orange hat pulls up colourful fish. The art is calm and tidy, nothing shouts at you. The sound is soft and can be muted.

Is Fishing Time fair?

Yes, it runs on a certified random number generator. Every spin is independent of the last one. You cannot influence where the wheel stops. The RTP sits at 96%, which is normal for this niche.

What other reviews skip

Plenty of write-ups just say “fun wheel game” and stop there. They rarely mention that only one sector in 54 is Mega Catch. That single fact is the whole point of the game. It is why big wins sit far apart.

Bonus catches – Big, Huge and Mega Catch

Three bonus sectors each start their own fishing round. The angler reels in a fish while the multiplier climbs. Once the fish is up, the number locks. The rarer the fish, the higher the ceiling.

Green fish, Big Catch in Fishing Time

Big Catch

Green fish · 4 sectors

x3 – x150

The most common bonus. Shows up fairly often but pays the least.

Yellow fish, Huge Catch in Fishing Time

Huge Catch

Yellow fish · 3 sectors

x5 – x300

The middle tier. Rarer than Big Catch, with a much bigger ceiling.

Violet fish, Mega Catch in Fishing Time

Mega Catch

Violet fish · 1 sector

x10 – x1000

The big one. Just one sector in 54, and the x1000 lives here.

The fish colour signals the tier: green, yellow and violet. Easy to read straight off the wheel.

What the bonus round looks like

The angler pulls the fish up while the multiplier ticks over. Here are all three bonuses in pictures. Green, yellow and violet – most common to rarest.

What is the maximum win?

The top win is x1000 of your stake. It comes from Mega Catch plus a high multiplier. That is rare, so do not count on it. Still, the ceiling is there.

The same angler turns up in several BGaming titles. They are different games, not one and the same. Fishing Time is the wheel version. The others play differently, but the theme carries over.

RTP, rules and the wheel – how Fishing Time works

The RTP in Fishing Time is 96%. On average the game returns ₹96 for every ₹100 staked over time. The rest is the house margin. That applies to long runs, not to your single session.

The basic rules

You place a marker on one or more sectors. Then the wheel spins and stops on a sector. If it hits yours, you win. To cover every bonus, you tap “All Bonuses”.

The minimum stake is 0.10 and the maximum is 250 in game credits. You can adjust markers while the “Place your bets” bar fills. Once it is full, stakes lock. Simple enough.

Stakes and limits

You stake between 0.10 and 250 per round. Small stakes last a long time, large ones drain the balance fast. Here are the limits worth knowing before you start.

VolatilityMedium

Volatility feels medium in practice. White and grey sectors keep the balance ticking. The big jumps come rarely, but they do come. So a little patience helps.

Try the lucky wheel yourself

Tap the button and a real wheel spins. It uses the same spread as the game. No stake, no money – just to see how seldom the bonuses land.

Press to spin.

    Random multipliers (x2–x10)

Before each spin, sectors can pick up an extra multiplier. It sits between x2 and x10. If such a sector wins, your payout is multiplied by that number. That is where the really big hits come from.

    Is Fishing Time provably fair?

The game runs on a certified RNG, not on a blockchain. So it is not “provably fair” in the strict sense. But the randomness is tested and signed off by a third party. The outcome cannot be steered.

Is Fishing Time a crash game?

It is a hybrid – half wheel, half crash. The bonus round, where the fish is reeled in, feels like a crash moment. The multiplier grows until the fish is up. Then the number locks and applies to your stake.

How it differs from regular slots

A normal slot has reels, paylines and free spins. Fishing Time has none of that. There is only the wheel and three fish bonuses. Faster rounds, fewer rules to track.

The demo loads from BGaming when you tap. The page stays fast.

Do you have to sign up?

No, the demo needs no registration. You open it and play in a second. It is play-for-fun only, with no real-money option on this page.

    Demo versus real money

The demo uses FUN credits with no value. The rules, the wheel and the RTP are exactly the same. The only difference is that demo wins cannot be withdrawn. Great for learning the game.

Does the demo work on mobile?

Yes, it runs straight in the phone browser. No app to download. It plays just as well on a small phone as on a desktop.

    Why start in demo mode?

The demo lets you learn the wheel with zero risk. You see how often the bonuses drop. You try “All Bonuses” and rebet at your own pace. Then you know whether the game is for you.

Tips and bankroll – before you play

No strategy raises your RTP. The wheel is random, full stop. No stake or timing changes the odds. What you can control is your budget and your time.

Practical tips for your play budget

    • Set a limit before you start, and keep to it.
    • Practise in the demo until the wheel makes sense.
    • Small stakes give you more spins for the money.
    • “All Bonuses” costs more per round – keep that in mind.
    • Do not chase losses, take a break instead.

    A worked budget example

Say you set aside ₹2,000 and stake ₹10 per spin. That budget lasts around 200 rounds. On average some of it returns as you go. But the average is a long-run figure, not your evening. A session can swing either way.

    Autoplay and rebet

Autoplay spins for you a set number of times. You choose the count and press start. Change the stake and it stops. Rebet places the same markers as the last round, quick and easy.

    Common myths about Fishing Time

“Mega Catch is due after a long dry spell.” No, that is not how it works. Every spin is reset and independent. The wheel does not remember the last result.
